Mind Wandering and Personal connections
We are currently investigating the various types of thoughts readers can have during learning (e.g., off-task thoughts and personally connective thoughts) using behavioral measures and eye-tracking.

Chit Chat
We are also interested in understanding how thoughts arise and affect computer-mediated conversations. We are currently using linguistic analyses and time series approaches to model how conversations unfold between two people.
Boredom and Creativity
Another study we are currently doing is investigating how boredom can inspire creative thought. Different tasks can change the likelihood of creative thoughts when experiencing boredom.
